during lockdown I sketched a lot of cloudy characters, which transformed in to the more simplified blue+white mugs...these toons refer to the original cloudy gang that helped me doodle and cope with the crazy
the mug is made from brown stoneware with a layer of white slip dipped on the exterior then glazed with a shiny clear. the decals are handcut underglaze tranfers with some masked glaze inlay. expressed foot and pulled-in-place handle...and slippy finger marks for fun
